Benefits of Reformer Pilates
Move better.
Build strength.
Reformer Pilates offers more than strengthening isolated muscles. Each exercise coordinates strength, control, breathing and movement quality.
01 / CONTROL
Develop core control and stability
Guided movement challenges the trunk to stay organised while the arms and legs move, building useful whole-body control.
02 / STRENGTH
Strengthen the whole body
Adjustable spring resistance creates progressive work for the legs, arms, trunk and smaller stabilising muscles.
03 / MOBILITY
Improve mobility and coordination
The Reformer supports controlled mobility, balance and coordination without relying on speed or high impact.

A session with purpose
What your practice
may include.
Every session can be adapted, but a balanced Reformer practice often moves through these foundations.
Reformer Pilates is exercise, not medical treatment or rehabilitation. If you are pregnant, injured, recovering from surgery or managing a health condition, seek medical guidance and inform the instructor.

Who can do Reformer Pilates?
Many adults can practise Reformer Pilates, from beginners to experienced participants. The equipment and exercises can be adapted, but individual suitability should always be confirmed.
Do I need to be flexible or already fit?
No. Flexibility and advanced fitness are not prerequisites. Start at the appropriate level and progressively develop control, confidence and range of motion.
What should I wear and bring?

Can Reformer complement gym training?
Yes. Its focus on control, mobility, coordination and trunk strength can complement a broader strength or cardio routine.
Can I attend during pregnancy or with an injury?
Suitability is individual. Obtain medical clearance where appropriate and inform the instructor before booking so the current options can be discussed safely.
